No 4 Series at the NY auto show

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
So we make our annual trip to the NY auto show looking forward to seeing the new 4 series coupe in person. The most talked about car in the BMW booth? The 4 series that was a no show.

It seems, we were told, that BMW corporate didn't feel the NY show was important enough to bother transporting the new 4. Instead they brought it to Canada.

LOTS of folks very vocal about how unhappy they were no to see the new 4.

The featured car was the 6 series... yesterday's news. Ugly then, ugly now.

BMW has lost it's way. I'm going to spend the extra money on the new 911.

cant compare a 911 to a 4 that's cheating. I feel your pain about no 4 series at the show though.

+1, I actually like mid-engine more. And they're pretty much just as fast now.

I think the New Cayman is gorgeous and it was designed from the start to handle great. The 911 rear engine, rear drive was a bad design that they have made good by using technology. The Cayman to me is more pure and it doesn't have the boxster tax.

Bimmerpost posted full NY show coverage on the homepage which showed there was no 4 series there before show even opened for the public.

Hmmm...couldn't you get 2 F32's for the price of a 911?

Destination Shanghai, China.

I know what you are thinking FEP?
But look closer and you can see they are actual production cars. The camouflage is actually vinyl so it can peel off with no damage to the paint but also not lack of registration plates.

Scott, I'm assuming these are 435i's in M Sport trim? Really looking forward to seeing this unveiled!

Is the F30 M3 making it's debut in China?
