I would highly recommend MG instead of the AW with the Coral Red seats. I have this on my 335i M-Sport and absolutely love it. More people compliment me on the interior than on the exterior, even though MG is an absolutely gorgeous color.

Regardless of exterior color, you won't be disappointed with the Coral Red. It's different, unique, and stunning in person. Very sporty, too!

I've got the EBII with Black, but that Coral Interior on EBII looks sweet! I've had some of the same issues you did with the brakes. Had the car 2 weeks now, 1 week in sat in my driveway, the other week sat in the dealership's garage on separate occasions and they've replaced the pads, rotors, etc. and can't get the squealing to stop. Both the driver & passenger seats are now squeaking now every time I hit a bump. I've had cars that are much more then the $60K I paid for the BMW and a lot less and never had any of these issues with a new car. Glad to hear BMW NA was good to you. I've called them and waiting for a response on next steps.

Sorry to hear about your car. :/

That is an AMAZING color combo. Looks really aggressive, I like.

My M Sport is Estoril and black, awesome combo! Unfortunately, I have rusty seats, too.

Yeah I'm betting my replacement will have them too. At the end of the day it's just a cosmetic issue. It sucks but thankfully it's not easily visible.

Beg to differ, friend, but I don't buy the whole "it's cosmetic" thing... How do we know what this corrosion will lead to. How do we know what other defective parts lurk beyond our human eye due to BMW's lax and laughable quality control? This doesn't look cosmetic, this looks like a corporate FU. So far BMW response to me has been extremely unethical. I'm on the verge of reining hellfire on their thuggish corporate ass! Thanks BMW, for the thoroughly horrible buying experience.

Yes. Did you get a chance to read my first/original post?

BMW is taking back my '13 EBII/Black M-Sport 335i.

I ordered a new '13 Glacier Silver/Coral Red M-Sport 335i. It's currently crossing the Atlantic on the Tamerlane. At the port, the M-Sport black grilles and exhaust will be installed. All of this is free of charge.

At the dealer, I'll be adding the M-Sport front lip and either a painted M-Sport rear spoiler or carbon fiber M-Sport rear spoiler. I'll have to pay for these enhancements.

Sorry to read about your various troubles. But good for BMWNA for taking your car back and giving you the opportunity to start over.

Congratulations on your choice of GS ! The 335i M Sport looks fabulous in Glacier Silver - I'm just a touch biased !

As for the rusty seats, I very much doubt that this problem will be a repeat for you. BMW incorporated production changes in October/November. My mid-October built car has no rusty areas on the seat frames and the seat hinges are painted black. Thus far, I have had zero issues with my M Sport.

Thanks for the kind words Derek.

Beautiful F30! I have yet to see a Glacier Silver F-30 M-Sport in person but it looks very classy in photos.

It seems to me that Glacier Silver makes the features of the M-Sport really "pop" - if you will.

Yes, I agree (see photo below). But, it is also a relatively rare and overlooked colour choice. I think you will be very happy with GS.

Winter is almost done here on the west coast, so I look forward to driving my car with its Style 400 wheels & Bridgestone summer performance tires.

You don't need to get an attitude with me.

Totally agree. I think GS will be rarer than EB as far as the M-Sport is concerned.

And thanks for sharing the photo. Your car looks stunning!

I just got my seat pans replaced due to rust. After debating leaving it alone, you just don't know what airborne rust particles could do to electronics.

However, if you get them swapped out: baton down the hatches because you will get damage. I even warned them ahead of time of other owners getting damage with the swap. The wood on the center console was gouged, the vinyl on the pax side dinged and gouges on the driver's door sill.

Plus a knick on the driver door from banging in to something. Moreover, the car has already had the aux fan replaced once, and has gone into limp mode subsequent to that. It logged another fault but BMWNA told the dealer to check some connections, drive it and if no fault release it to me.

It goes out again, I'm going to file a lemon law suit.

Not a fan of generic silver, but the GS has more presence than past silver colors IMHO.

There won't be "airborne rust particles". Doesn't anyone understand what "rust" is?

Than what happened to data centers that had airborne rust FU servers and the like because the floor tiles were rusting on the bottom and allowing airborne rust particles.

Notice the snip from the below link under contamination control:

http://www.set3.com/data-center-faqs/

"Some of the basic contamination control methods in a data center are:
Use particle testing as a gauge of environment condition
Removal and repair of sub floor corrosion"

Hmm corrosion--could it be RUST???

Current autos are a plethora of electronics.

I love my AW with CR but I do wish I had gotten JB with CR. I had originally ordered it that way but was split and made an impulse decision to change it last minute. That's okay, the next one.

Enjoy your decision!
