Noisy fuel tank

Noticed now and then when radio off when coming to a stop I would hear a light knocking from the rear. Well today I washed the car so investigated , i rocked the rear to see if I could hear anything and i could hear fuel sloshing back and fourth in the tank, this appears to be the sound I'm hearing in the car. Would of assumed there be some type of baffle in the tank, unless my is missing?

Anyone else noticed this?

Yep, I've noticed this too when putting the car in the garage - it's very quiet and I can hear the fuel 'bumping' the sides of the tank.

Thanks for the replies guys, least its not just mine. Never had a car before where I could hear the fuel sloshing/banging in the fuel tank so would be interested if they have fitted a baffle of some sort in these tanks.

Is the tank under the boot floor? If so then perhaps the rubber line John posted would deaden it?
