First oil change - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

For my first oil change, should I get it done early or should I wait until the car tells me to bring the car in for service, which is around 20,000 km.

If you 'baby' the car, you should change it around 5,000km.

I changed mine @ 5,000km, then 10,000km and finally 20,000km (free one)

For just ordinary oil change, you can always go to indep garage. like RMP or bimmersport.

You would probably save around $30-40 from doing it @ those mentioned shops.

You don't have to wait until the mileage is reached, the dealer will do an annual oil change for free.
