the manual says you should paint part of the rear diffuser to body color. Anyone have done so? Thinking I will just leave it unpainted.
My M sport rear diffusor is in glossy black in comparison. |

I wish...but theres no way the whole kit is around 500. The front lip alone is $480 from getbmwparts.com. Here http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

Retail pricing for the components that make up this kit:
Front Spoiler: $600 Rear diffuser: $500 Side splitters: $190 per side Trunk spoiler: $250 Betalink adhesive (for front spoiler): $40 having installed the whole kit, 3 hours is a pretty raw deal....if I was a tech I wouldn't touch it for anything less than 5. FYI for anyone attempting this install themselves. you WILL need a plastic rivet tool you can get it at your Harbor freight for under $20 http://www.harborfreight.com/hand-ri...ets-97757.html Quote:

Pricing looks pretty good. These look to be all plastic parts. Concepts were in carbon i thought.

Lots of good info. Was able to install myself. Definitely need the riveting too mentioned. Glad there was a harbor freight nearby that I was able to pickup from.
Hard to see, but got the side sills installed as well. Definitely would have been easier and fast if I had a lift. But overall three hours is about right. Sneak peak until I get a day off. ![]() |

If anyone here has installed it themselves, what would you rate the difficulty of this install out of 10? I'm thinking of buying the front splitter, spoiler, and rear diffuser soon. Was wondering if I should DIY or bring it into a shop.
