No alcantara anthracite seats? - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I was just messing around on the car configuator, i noticed that the 5 series MSport has a cloth/alcantara anthracite seat option, with the leather seats being a no cost option. How come there is no similar system available for the f30 MSport?
I would have thought the cloth/alcantara seat option would be more popular in a f30 than a 'more luxurious' f10?

wondered if anyone knew BMW's reason for this?

You mean there's no alcantara seats with m-sport on F30 in the UK?
Here in Norway, the alcantara is standard with the m-sport on both F30 and F10, and leather are an option that costs extra.

I would have gotten the M Sport package over the Sport Line if it came with the Alcantara seats, but I was told those seats were not even an option. WTF???

Alcantara has always been standard with the M Sport, so either he's an idiot or it may be another one of those things u americans are denied for some f-ed up reason.

In the US the M-Sport package cannot be had with cloth/alcantara seats.

Neither the UK or US M-Sport models have alcantara. It annoyed me too, especially after seeing they are std in other markets (i.e. Australia).

Consider it as a bonus cos leather costs more than the alcantara/cloth covers.

I'd prefer alcantara tbh! Or at least the option of having it instead of leather.

Ask ur dealer, in theory they can order one for u but they won't refund u the difference.

Haha sorry man my bad for not looking closer, but I assumed u brits had the same euro spec as the rest of us so it "had to be" an american

The Brits are lucky in EU-terms cos their cars have higher std spec than continental Europe at more or less the same price.
