Yes that is the new X5. Just heading to an NAIAS emergency meeting due to this early unveiling by they company that will produce the scale models for BMW.

It looks different, but not better than current gen. The only thing I like is the wider front grilles and headlight integration.

i hate how 3 looks like the 5 and now the x5 looks like the x3. plus i think the older model looks much better

Yeah Chris Bangle isn't there anymore and IMO all the new BMW models are starting to look more feminine...
