Gloss Black Roof Vinyl & Smoked Taillights

Sharing some photos of a customer's car we just completed. Modifications include Gloss Black Roof Vinyl, 35% 3M Window Tints & Medium Smoked Taillights.

Weather wasn't great today in New York with a lot of rain... so the car is a bit dirty.

Just a quick question, why don't people vinyl the side rails on the roof? Is there a reason or is it purely because of cost?

Just wondering
Thanks

Edit looks great btw

Looks great! This is pretty much exactly what I'll be doing when I take delivery in a couple weeks so I have a couple questions

What did you use to tint the tails? Film?
What spoiler is on your customer's car?
Curious how much you guys charge to wrap the roof. Not sure if what I'm getting quoted is a fair price.

Great work though!

The side moldings have rubber gaskets around them, unfortunately vinyl doesn't stick very well to them, so it doesn't look that great up front and it will start to peel after some while of water and rain running through there. We can always wrap it but will not warranty it.

We don't use film for the taillights, we actually paint them with PPG Automotive paint. He has a Carbon Fiber M Performance spoiler, had it on his car before he brought it in so not sure if its OEM or Aftermarket.

What PPG Auto Paint did yall use for the Tail Lights, and are the brake lights still fully visible?

We use a mixture of clear and specific paint to get a perfect color.
