How do you get the revs to drop? Do you put the car in M1, rev it out, and then drop it back to neutral?

if you have the 8spd auto, just put it to the side and push the level down to downshift or use paddles if you have it.

I picked up this exhaust about a month ago, definitely adds some growl to the 328i. I noticed one of my tips has some discoloration from what I think may be due to the salt on the road this winter. Anyone else experience this or know how to remove it?

Just inquired about this at my local dealership $ 1300 CAD + tax + install. Anyone able to find a cheaper price in the GTA?

Called BMW Mississauga said $1240 + $133 (1 hour labor) + tax = $1551 total... I asked about discounts and they wouldn't budge at all...

For lease return he said we'll need to put the original back on and give it to them..

Why would we have to put original back on for lease return? This is a BMW OEM part.
So if I got the ///M brakes would they make me put back the originals at the end of the lease? LOL

So if I got the ///M brakes would they make me put back the originals at the end of the lease? LOL

My dealer told me the same. Even if I put oem bmw parts I still have to put back what the car came with when I drove out of the dealer. However, I can put aftermarket parts and come to service.

I've been asking around and Maz has a guy who can do it for $1350 all in.. But I'm looking for $1K max.. Will call a few places.. Are you still interested?

Ok.. so I spoke to Mike @ Maranello BMW.. He quoted $990 for the exhaust + $133 labor... ALL IN $1270.. prices won't go lower even if we had a GB...

Let me check with my contact if he can get lower than $1270 all in..I bought lots of stuff from him and he's been the cheapest...

Also at Lease Return...you DO NOT need to put everything back to stock...as long as you have M Performance Upgrades, you're okay! Trust me on this!

However if you had aftermarket stuff, then YES, you will have to put everything back to stock...

M Performance is BMW OEM so its in the dealerships (or really stealership's) best interest to get the car with the upgarded more expensive parts...
