My Window lock button
I recently purchased a 2013 328i, and on the driver side, there is a button that should allow me to lock everyone else windows so they cant roll them down right? When I press the button, I see a light turn on, which I guess should indicate that no one in the car can roll down their windows.
The issue I am having is that whether the button is lit up, or not, everyone can roll their windows down whenever. Is this a electrical problem? Or am I just missing something? |

When I push that button and the light comes on, the other windows are definitely locked out.
You'll probably need to take it in and have it looked at. |

You do mean that the window buttons on the other doors still work when you activate the disable button? Because the master buttons for the driver may veru well still work regardless of the position of the disable button.

Yes, with the little light on, or off, the others in the car can also move it up and down

I had the issue, but I've found that if you roll any window down with the window lock button activated, it overrides the disable. So I just keep that in mind after having washed my car to just leave the button on and don't touch anything :P
