F31 Mirror housing - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I need pictures of the "Removal of the Mirror housing" to expose the wiring, I am going to fit a dash camera behind the mirror.
Has anyone done this and got pictures please, thanks.

its just double sided taped onto the windshield
heat gun/hair dryer and slowly pry it off
