What cargo mat are people using?
I have a new EB2 Msport and was trying to decide what trunk liner to use.
BMW seem to have one with a red trim (Sport) and one with a silver/beige trim (Modern). BMW also offers a different cargo solution that folds out in three parts. Weathertec also has trunk liners. Any opinions on any of these protective solutions. I occasionally transport my mother's wheelchair and some sailing gear and of course luggage when on vacation. |

I got the modern one...I have a base model, and all black interior, seems to match well.

Mine is an all black interior as well. I wouldn't mind seeing a picture as the one on the BMW website doesn't really give a very good idea of what it looks like.

Trunk liner? What's that? LOL!! I've got a trunk with a black interior. When I have "crap" to put in the trunk, I throw a ratty blanket in to keep the car neat.

First week of owning the car, I had put my groceries in the back and my gallon of milk was slightly leaky...learned my lesson, bought this, and have no worries...

I had that "ah-ha" moment when I was driving to gas stations for generator gas every day during the 12 days without power from Sandy (you may have been in the same boat). I loaded the trunk with old blankets to absorb any spills. Other than that, my car is never used for messy errands. Got a pick-up and SUV for those tasks.

Just FYI, this mat is cheaper than the weathertech version, which is why I went ahead with it (if you can get a 20% discount at your dealer)....
here are some pics, sorry it was late and dark out: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I justed using the weather tech rubber mat that i had in my old E46 325i. It is a pretty good fit and gets the job done.
