Thinking about replacing my E90 330d.

The current contenders are:

- 330d again, F30 this time: Broadspeed.com shows about £3k discount.

- 535d: Broadspeed about £6k discount.

- Audi A6: Broadspeed about £6k discount.

- Audi A7: Broadspeed about £8k discount.

Anyone think I could do any better than these discount levels? Whatever I get will end up with £5,000-£10,000 in options over the base spec price.

Buy an ex BMW UK car from a BMW dealer.
High spec cars, huge saving.
I bought a 328 Modern .2700 miles. £13000 under list ! Honestly
It had £9000 of extras.
To be honest the 330d will not be as heavily discounted but you will save ££££s
Look on the BMW used car web site.

Yes, thought about that, problem is it seems my tastes differ from most of the UK buying public and the spec I want is hard to find use.

Stuff I want:
- sunroof
- upgraded sound system
- light colour interior
- dark colour exterior
- 17 or 18 inch wheels
- and the big one: SE spec, not M-sport (or S-line in Audi land).

If I didn't get the above, then I'd just be spending a large wedge of cash on something I'm not really happy with. May as well just buy a slightly used Ford and save even more.

Just factory order one and get THE car you want. There's lots of folks got thousands off new 330Ds in the last few months. Although, you've picked the worst time of the year to get discounts since the 2012 targets have been and gone. Unless you buy today

I bought 4 cars in the past 20 months and I have always gone to the dealer with a broadspeed print out. I've never yet paid more than Broadspeed and in usually less.

In my experience in order to get the best price:
Be ready to buy, and be serious - let the dealer know "I will sign today if..."
Order the car, and sign, pay a deposit, then add options. Insist on the same discount level (e.g. 10%) on any future upgrades. Do this asap though.

Good luck... and avoid the Audi garages... you know you want a BMW!
