M-sport on order

so i pulled the trigger and worked a deal on a 335xi M-sport with all of the packages except the driver assistance pkg with the lane departure. got the sport trans and harmon kardon and the adaptive suspension to help level out the body roll.

going for the alpine white with black interior and aluminum trim.

cant wait! i decided to try out the auto side of things after i bought a BMWK1600GT motorcycle and fell in love with the inline 6 that the bike has.

it should be a few months or so before it comes in so i have time to read up on everything here.

Congrats, you're going to love it. Just don't read up on the issues some people are having with their F30, it will drive you crazy hoping it doesn't happen to your car. I know that's how I felt.

oh dont worry...when i got the k1600, the bike forum had all kinds of horror stories. its the same for every car or bike ive ever owned. its good to read up on that stuff, but at the same time i understand that things are never perfect.

bottom line for me is that a good warranty and a good dealer and time tend to iron out most things.

i did a bunch of test drives and decided that the AWD is still the best compromise for a daily driver for me. i drove the 328i and xi as well and i have to say that those cars are pretty damn ridiculous for a 4 cyl engine. in the end, i still love that smooth inline 6
