Anyone hear from their CA? I don't know what days they work, but I'm hoping the 3 days or so it takes to get through customs and ready for a truck includes Saturday and maybe even Sunday..

My status updated on Sunday, so I assume they work weekends at the port. The shipping companies who truck the cars to the dealerships, however, do not from what I can tell.

My status on the 800# seems to have gone backwards, so that's useless. MyBMW site still says in transit to US...

BUT, the WW website says "discharged" with location of NY on 1/11 (when the ship go in) and "Delivered From" today at 8 am.

EDIT: just heard from my CA, It has cleared customs and should be finished with port prep by tomorrow.
Says it will definitely be here before the end of the week and that the trucking schedule looks like it will be transported Thursday. So, sounds like I should be able to pick it up Saturday!!

CA emailed me today. She's awesome like that. ")

My car was released to the shipper either today or at some point over the weekend. It should be at the dealership by weeks end. Shooting for a Monday delivery.

My CA is taking off today and tomorrow so I was going to leave him alone until Wednesday. I was hoping to pick it up Wednesday but based on what you guys are saying maybe that won't happen. At least it should be this week though.

The status on the website has not changed and calling the 800 number my status also went backwards to at port waiting for a shipping vessel. Weird. WW site the same as you Chris.

I just called the 800 number to see what the status was (out of curiosity), and it says that my car is as the shipping port, waiting on a vessel. HA!

Also, I can't believe I forgot my production number. I had to look it up. I knew that number like my kids birthday, and used to call the 800 number multiple times, everyday.

I know. I'm now on to stalking a friend's order since I can't do anything else with mine till I pick it up... Their car is in 112, so plenty of time to stalk that one lol.

It is good to know that I am not the only crazy person in this world. I had it down so I could call the 800 number and get the status in under 30 seconds including time for the phone to ring. It became like a game to me to see how fast I could do it. I had all the menu options and my production number memorized. I even thought about programming the phone to hit the numbers automatically but I never went that far.

I am not sure if it arrived today because he has been off the last two days but either way I was surprised I could get it today. Very excited.

Yeah even if it got there on his day off, impressive they had it prepped and ready when he got back (or that he called and had them prep it, whatever the case may be). Good luck!!!

Guys, I think our cars may have been on the same truck. That's pretty cool.

So far the car is great. I think I even figured out the idrive while driving home. Biggest thing I noticed is how different the car is in various modes. eco pro is very pedestrian. Comfort is nice for every day driving. Flip it to Sport and you can feel it turn into a beast. I had to take it easy or I would have violated the break in period recommendations.
