Listening music on Iphone / Ipod.
I can`t read my music on my iphone or my Ipod. Bluethoot connection is working for the I phone but can`t read music when I plug on my aux-audio USB. .I even tried on the UBS in the glovebox.
I don`t have the iphone option but the dealer told me it was only to be able to surf on the internet. I hope we don`t need to pay to have an option to read music on Ipod!! |

I have the same problem and found out the un-pairing the iPhone and pairing it again wile it was connected via USB resolve the problem. I think is because a conflict between the audio going via USB or BT.

You cannot browse iPod on iPhone when plugged via USB. It is by design.
You can browse the iPod, if connected via Bluetooth.

Agreed. It's the other way around IIRC. Only tried BT once and I think you had to browse and enable a playlist on the phone/iPod.
But if I'm wrong on that, I do browse my iPhone or iPod all the time with the USB cable.

If I want to play music from my iPhone 5, which method should I use?
1. Via USB (centra armrest USB connection) 2. Via BT Will it import The music from the above-mentioned method into the HDD of the F30? Thanks |

I use the USB so I can access the BMW Apps, but you can used either. Additional benefit of using the USB is that the phone is charging.
