Sorry but you got screwed. That is absolutely insane. If anyone quoted me more than 4 hours of labor and more than $600 I would laugh in their face and run away.

Sorry I didn't.

I have a no-line, so they had to drop the sub-frame to install new ARBs FRONT and REAR. Alignment was $140.

If I had a M Performance, $800 would've been the target price range. The f'in ARB's (if you go under and see them) are a pain to get to.

I'd like to know why there are two completely separate releases for the M-sport for the PPK. I really hope BMW snuck in some extra aggressive coding on the stock M-sport so it already makes a little extra horsepower over the standard model.

I also noticed that if you get the M suspension upgrade listed above, you have to separately buy the M-sport front and rear stabilizer bars too? Almost seems like the M-sport might have upgraded stabilizer bars over the stock model too?
No, it's the same ARBs that the M-sport line has. So anyone without a M Sport has to buy those, the springs, AND the strut kit.

The power kit has always required the M Sport body kit as far as I know, I was looking at the power kit for the E92 on BMW's website and it says you need the M Sport bumper to fit the extra cooling. (I guess this only applies if you get the power kit plus cooling upgrade, I would think any car can get the software reflash) Stock M Sport doesn't make any more power than any other line.

Sport and M Sport have the same suspension, but yes they have different stabilizer bars compared to the standard car or the Luxury and Modern lines along with stiffer springs and etc.

Those labor times are often short as well. The BBK requires larger dish shields for the 328, and that means you have to replace the wheel bearings to get the rear hubs off.

Ok, Thanks !

Also any numbers regarding on how loud (dB level ?) the exhaust would be over the stock ?

From what I have heard it's the most timid exhaust available.

But with CCA discount it's 20% off and it's BMW which has it's appeal.

The catback that was used on my car made 7whp and 20ftlbs of tq, weighted 15% less, sounds amazing, and costs under $1000. The production unit will be installed on my car in less than two weeks.

Can anyone clarify this for me... Is it $900 for both front and rear retrofitted Msport bumpers? or is it $900 for each piece? and I'm not seeing any mention of the retrofitted rocker panel themselves. They only mention the blades.

I assume that's just changing the front and rear bumpers to the M-sport bumpers?
It reads like you'd have to order front/rear bumpers in addition. So I guess the $900 gets you the wheel, and maybe the Sport suspension. I can't imagine they'd give you new seats as well.
Ill take that for $900 fprget the bumpers !

After reading it over Im guessing the retrofit kit is just a plastic bag full of nuts and bolts and brackets.

Yes, that sounds more likely. It would be very-un-BMW-like to include a M-sport wheel or anything else "of value" for that $900

Neither. You buy the bumpers separately. Notice how it says front and rear bumpers must be ordered separately. You might be getting some brackets, bolts and maybe the auxiliary cooler for that $900.

Seems like ill have to go with a Dinan tune if the PPK doesn't work for my no-line.
There's no way I'd pay to upgrade the bumper for 15 hp, lol...BMW fail.

Why not just get a set of KW coilovers? I'm sure that it would have been a much easier install..

Not entirely true. You don't need new ARBs if you have the M-Sport OR Sport line. These two lines have the same suspension.

Yes thx for clarifying for boards, M and Sport.

I wanted to keep it warranted, that's the only reason.

Pics in 48 hours!

Has anyone had the dealer body shop paint and install both the front lip and the rear spoiler? They quoted me $450 for labor and paint.

Yes for the M-sport. On trade motion.com the spoiler is $195 and if you want it pre-painted it costs an additional $140. From the quote for the installation and paint on the spoiler the body shop will charge $137, so it is similar to getting it pre-painted. I was told that if the bumper has to be removed it would cost more money.
