Plasti dip whole car - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

does anyone know how much it costs to Plasti dip the whole car, I love the EBII that i have and I wouldnt change it now, but I am just curious how much it would cost, i came across those pics and the color looks really cool

It's possible. Some places charge about a grand. There are companies that sell kits to do it yourself as a more cost effective solution. It's basically just bulk plastidip and a thinning solution so it takes about 5 to 6 coats. Hope that's helpful

if it was around 500 i probably would do it once I get tired of the EBII which i don't know if that will even happen cuz its such a cool color

Looks more like vinyl wrap.

Plasti-dipping would be a pain in the ass for full car.

Hell of a lot easier and 3M makes a ton of different colors.

its a plasti dip, the guy just sent me a PM, he gave me the contact info of the guy who did it on his car, the info is if anyone is interested patrick@dipyourcar.com

Go to dipyourcar.com They have kits for about $299.99 and up depending on the size of your car, they also include a profesional sprayer and 3M blue tape to mask off the car. Plasti Dip is an amazing product, I just did the rear 335i crome and sprayed it to red. Super easy to use and if you dont like it just peel it off.

Thanks, some like it, some dont as you can see from the thread. I like the contrast. I need to take a full back shot to show how minimal the change really is.

Wouldn't it be better to wrap your car? That way when you get sick of the frozen look, you can return the car to it's original color in excellent condition.

Whats the difference between vinyl and plastidip when you want a color that comes in plastidip. As long as its a smooth layer what is the difference?

In the end theyre both just some sort of shit on top of the car that changes the color. Lol.

Plastidipped m3 > f30 anything.
