Well seeing how original ETA is 5 hours from now, and the ship's still not in range of gps tracking, I'd guess the delay is accurate and we can expect it on the 30th.

The original f30 i ordered; Apline white 328i sportline, would never make it here in time; SA build, so my CA found me an identical f30 just jet blk. My new f30 which was also a SA build is currently on the ship Swift Ace with an eta to NJ/NYC port of 12/28 i am told. Not too sure where the Swift Ace is coming from or where it is now, but just wondering if anyone else's new BMW was on this vessel.

We have a Mini Countryman on Swift Ace.

Looks like it took a much more southerly route than most...perhaps to avoid storms? We would not want to get our cars all scratched up from rubbing against each other as the ship pitches and rolls in heavy seas

Perhaps that explains the delay versus the original schedule.

Threat of a strike is over for now. ILA and management have agreed to a 30 day contract extension.

Good thing I'm gonna be on a trip over new years, or the waiting for the ship to dock and car to clear VPC would drive me crazy! I'm hoping by the time I come back the car's at the dealership waiting for me!

This "out of range" business is driving me crazy...decided to spend a week in Vegas to kill time and my winnings could have paid for additional options on my new 328i...oh well, I guess it serves me right. Now I'm ogling the pics of the new 4 series coupe and wondering if I shouldn't have waited another 6-8 months to make the leap. I can't win for losing. Now I just have to figure out if my car will be offloaded in NYC, Baltimore or Brunswick for an NC delivery. Pins and needles for another week I guess.

I have a 328xi onboard and am starting to get itchy over here. It didn't help that my new sport line wheels were delivered yesterday!!

Looks like the ship never relayed its daily itinerary update via satellite. Should have done so today at 16:30 UTC, it's already 00:12 UTC the next day.
