4 series side vent boomerang SCOOP - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

So most of us have seen the new 4 Coupe. Also i'm sure everyone has seen the SCOOP that is right by the front wheels. Well will the 2014Model year 3 series have the scoop? I want a sedan, but I want a SCOOP!!!!!!!

The F30 sedan won't get it.

This is one of those styling elements that will set the 4 Series coupe apart from the 3 Series sedan.

Nothing a whole lot of Bondo and a body shop can't set you up with.

Then you'll be the only F30 owner with a scoop.

IMO, it's very cheap looking, esp. on a BMW.

You'll need a 4-series Gran Coupe, when it comes out.

If you wait a bit, perhaps an aftermarket shop will come out with a fender + scoop for the sedan. Otherwise you can go the custom route.

You must be getting fed some great information, a lot of which I bet your sworn to keep secret until certain times.
And then SCOTT26 "leaking" away. T'is all very interesting! Clever marketing.

The scoop works for me, and I believe it also works for EfficientDynamics, along with the flared front air intakes.

I just don't understand how the 3GT could get it and the 4Coupe could get it and yet, not the 3... it makes me sad. i want it..... BADLY!!!!!!!

You mean the "Bimmerang"? And again, those pictures are off the 4 series concept so not what the production model will look like. Unfortunately the few near final production pictures we've seen of the 4 series the Bimmerang vent looks much worse than in the concept pictures, similar to what is on the 3 series GT.

Its all part of the strategy to get ppl into getting the 4 series.. DAM THEM!!!!!!!

My mrs is already asking me to get the 4 so she gets the f30
