Unless I have misunderstood him, the author doesn't like the rear seats in the M Sport model. I wasn't aware that M sport models got different rear seats. Can anybody confirm if this is correct, and what the difference is to the regular seats?

I know that in the front M Sport models get sport seats, and after sitting in a few, I really like them.

The problem was that the reviewer never took the rear seats out of Sport Mode. If he'd realized that the rear seats have adaptive cushioning (up to 8mm lower), I think he would've like them much better. Personally, I doubt my rear passengers will ever switch the seats out of Comfort Mode.

Thanks for your feedback. I didn't realise there were different comfort settings for the rear seats. Where can I read more about this feature?

Well, there's this from "Technical Specifications" from the press release:

-Optional lowered adaptive rear seats with electronically controlled dampers, which adjusts the damper mapping to the road surface, driving situation and passenger weight.
-M Sport rear seats featuring aluminium four-piston fixed cushions at the front and two-piston fixed cushions at the rear.
-Variable Sports Rear Seating with Servotronic is available as an option, providing different seating ratios depending on the angle of the occupants when turning.

So it finally happened. The Ultimate Driving Machine has become The Ultimate Riding Machine!
