screen trim removal?
Anyone know how to remove this little piece of black glossy plastic? I'm interested in removing it to add some silicone sealant behind it because it creeks, cracks, and rattles with heat changes. It feels very lose but I really don't want to break it

Im not sure abut the actual screen trim, but start by removing the whole monitor screen. THere will be 2 T20 torx bits that are holding it on at least on the 3 series there are, not sure about your car.
And yes it does creek, even the navigation one does. Im in the process of fixing this myself.
