My 335 M Sport order, which the dealer told me was a German build, was processed with BMW last Monday and got "Production Begins" status on Friday--4 days later.

For those of you who've seen this whole process play out on GERMAN BUILDS, what's the total time from Production Begins status to At Your BMW dealer?

entered production sep- 4th
finished production sep-13th
arrived at port sep- 18th
Left bremerhaven on California Highway sep- 27th
arrived @ brunsiwick oct- 11th
left vpc oct- 25th
arrived at dealer oct- 26th
pickup in a few hours

Sept. 4, 2012 - 151 - Body Shop.
Sept. 5, 2012 - 152 - Paint Shop Started
Sept. 6, 2012 - 154 - Assembly
Sept. 7, 2012 - 155 - Assembly Finish / Quality Check It's alive!
Sept. 8, 2012 - En Route to Port of Exit
Sept. 12, 2012 - In Port Awaiting Shipping Vessel
Oct. 4, 2012 - Car in the Port of New York
Oct. 5, 2012 - Off boat, cleared for customs
Oct. 11, 2012 - Car at the dealership.
Oct. 15, 2012 - Delivery

7 weeks total!
