Today in Alaska - 328 Glacier Silver M Sport - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Beautiful day today, so took a little drive down the highway. Even took a real camera instead of my iPhone this time, so hopefully quality is a little better. Shots were taken 15 minutes from my home, which is really the wonderful thing about living in Alaska! Loving the car more and more as each day passes.

Awesome! I really miss Alaska. Was stationed up in Fairbanks- even own a house up there. Car looks great and seems like you're really enjoying it.

Stunning car, stunning location!
I need at least 8 hours of driving before I reach equivalent scenery in the Alps.
But that's not a big deal, as I like driving so much

Eielson? 354th? I get up to Fairbanks (or "Scarebanks" as we derisively refer to it in Anchorage) every once in a while for work. Ever have a beer at the Boatel?

No- Wainwright. Never went to the Boatel. Usually went to Silver Gulch or the Big I. Scarebanks is appropriate. My house is in North Pole. I like Anchorage. Humpy's is great and I like the beer and peanut butter pie at Glacier Brew House.

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I justified the cold weather package vs. just heated front seats based on my dog's comfort. She is very cozy in the back seat, but I'm even happier with heated steering wheel, and so glad I elected for full cold weather package!

Finally put my order in on Saturday, black 335 m sport. Your silver in those shots almost makes me want to change me order... Almost. If not for the two silver cars I have now, probably would've done it.

There's no question that these photos have so much better resolution than the previous iPhone shots. The 1st, 3rd, 6th and 7th are stand out images - maybe you could sell some of these to BMWNA Marketing ?

As a fellow dog owner, I fully understand your rationale !

Unfortunately, Canadian cars do not come with heated rear seats, unless one is prepared to spend $600 extra, which I did not do. So my English springer will have to tough it out by sitting on an E90 style rear seat cover. I won't dare tell him that I passed on the seat heaters !
