Turning off Album Art - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I always plug in my iPhone with the usb cord in the center console. I do this so I can use my BMW Apps, however I don't like the split screen being taken over by the album artwork.

Is there a way to turn off the album artwork, that way in the split screen window you can see the artist/album/song?
