EBII 335i Clear bra and window tint installed! - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Went do the window tint(20% at back and rear, 50% at front) and clear bra this morning, saw a black GT-R got tinted the whole car with white color. It's nice but $3700 for the whole thing is way too expensive.
While I was there the guy who did my tint offers me a module for increase 50+ HP from his friends auto shop. He said the module is easy to remove and it places at back of the headlight. Any of you heard anything like that???

Nice! Never heard of such a thing for the 50. Any chance they mistaking it with the n54 or n55 from the e90 series?

Unless hes trying to sell him a Hartge tune. A tint shop needs to stick to tinting and not trying to tell you a sticker adds 12hp.

Can't wait to see some finished pictures. I'm doing the same mods this weekend but with 20% all the way around.

I dont believe so, on some cars the lights would overheat.

I thought that too, but since the guy did the tint jobs on so many cars. I doubt that he would get confused with F30 and E90. Anyways, I will try to get more infos from him for that 50HP+ thing. lol

crap I should of done this when I first got my car, got tiny scratches from rocks on mine now.

I got a standerd clear bra tint which inculdes: 1. front bumper. 2. Partial front hood. 3. Side mirrors. 4. Partial fender. 5. Headlights.

Specifically, how close do you have to be to notice it and is it shinier?

$1000 with the tint doesn't sound bad.
