So this is actually fresh news to me?

Didn't realise that BMW were going to make a 4 door 1'er (sedan)?? with the M120 performance sedan (S20) being a flagship pumping out 221kw?

Interesting.. sounds like its a fair way off though - 2016? Must be the next gen 1er, not the F20.

Might make a nice track car if they can keep the weight down. M2 (if it comes in) would definitely fit the bill.

yea i don't know what the timeline is, but it seems to be a fair way off i'm guessing if there's no discussion of it here on the 1'er forums yet
