Got stopped by cop @110mph - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

It was a nice stretch of road, no exits for miles forward and back so I opened it up a little bit. I was going pretty fast and saw a cop in a far right hand lane going about 50mph. Surely I hit the brakes and stopped right next to the cruiser with smoke coming from under my tires. Sure enough I get rolled.

The officer was pissed but professional. I told him that I just got the car and got overly excited and that it was stupid of me. I also asked if there was any chance to get a warning.

As usual he lets me off. Now this is the 10th time in a row I get let off for various speed and moving violations (no BS). This time I got very surprised because in a BMW I would expect a ticket. Instead, he commented that he liked my interior color and let me go. This is my 10th anniversary so I am posting this.

i got a ticket for not stopping for 3 seconds at a stop sign when i stopped for 2... in my own fucking community, with the bitchiest cop that needs to get laid pronto... consider urself lucky especially that many times around...

california stop can certainly get you a ticket

they watch to see if you come to a complete stop, and if you roll it........

if you'd came to a complete stop you would have been fine

I hate u so much right now!!! you lucky son of a gun, I'll probably be locked up in jail if I were in the same situation.

p.s. 110 is nothing trying getting caught @ 152mph with a procede in your 335i, lol. a board member can testify to that ticket (not my ticket but I was racing the said member on an empty airfield, lol)

Last time I was stopped for speeding was in a heavily moded turbo scion with 5% tint all around and no muffler (fell off 5 minutes ago). Before cop came to the car, I told my friend "watch and learn". In about 8 minutes of involved conversation with a cop I was on my way home scott-free. This is either luck or I am just a Yoda @ this shit.

Ill watch the way I drive from now on. I have been pushing it. Not smart.

Well...I don't see what the big deal is. I got over 110 today cuz everyone in front of me was going too slow, so I had to go around on the right and get back over before I ran into left hand lane traffic.

The problem is that you got caught. If you hadn't gotten caught we wouldn't have to listen to you talk about how great you are at getting out of tickets. Next time try and look out for the smokies dude.
