I realle hate these super bulky key fobs.. Do you think its possible to get an older, smaller style one and just reprogram it to the F30? I assume I might have to move the immobilizer chip into the smaller fob, since theres nowhere to plug the new ones in?

charging the key would be a huge problem..since the old ones charge when its plugged into the car and the new ones just swap batteries

The old ones with Comfort Access did not charge when inserted.

The F30 keys have different electronics than the E9x generation. I doubt all the components would fit in anything much smaller.
