My thought (take them for what they're worth):

Website Intro:
Consider having only the box interior update as you select the different links. It gets a bit annoying when the box swings in from the left each time you go from one to the other.

Products Page Layout:
I like the color-coded exhaust noise ratings.

Overall I really like the site. It's simple, clean and easy to navigate.
A lot of aftermarket sites are sooo busy visually that it's almost intimidating to the customer. The last thing a customer should have to do is struggle to find the information they need.

haha... good catch, hoping that's a typo.

One more thought. On the Product Page Layout, consider outlining the price in another color. Right now the site has grey, yellow, black, red, and blue. The blue doesn't seem to fit.

First get rid of the splash page. I hate going to a site and then have to click a link just to get in. Unless you are using it to talk about an event or some crazy special it is pointless and annoying.

Second it seems you guys did flash just for the sake of it. There are some who still run on slow connections so I feel that can cause issues. Not to mention the layout seems very barren.

I like the products page, looks really good. If you need any help let me know. I am a designer/webmaster.

Really sweet site! On the first link I would say the Projects button which has photos of cars, when you click the photos it shouldn't open the photo in a new window, it should open in that screen or a new resized window on top of that one or something.

It is most liikely a pre-template. If I am mistaken I am sorry. just I spend a lot of time on design sites and they have full flash sites that all you have to do is edit.

Nothing wrong with it. Makes it much easier.

Great idea! I have been looking into other options. The box movement gets rather annoying.

I think the splash page looks clean but I have mixed feelings about keeping it. Thanks for shooting me the pm. I will be going over things with Ilia and getting back to you soon.

Thanks E90post members for taking the time to check out the new site! This community has been extremely helpful.

At the moment, both Nate and myself are doing this as a secondary pursuit, not as our main vocation. We're enthusiasts first and foremost, and have both had years of industry involvement before finally reaching a sort of boiling point, and starting our own business.

Nate went to his first BMW racing event before he could drive, at 15, and has been addicted ever since. In high school when everyone was taking girls on dates, he'd be at his neighbors garage, rebuilding the carbs on his 2002. He now works in a corporate environment, and is going to school for his MBA in order to better contribute to the business. He is very busy, so can't interact with customers much, but is a vital part of the company, and contributes great ideas and enthusiasm.

My first car was a 1987 BMW E30, at 17 years old, and I knew then that I wanted nothing but BMW cars ever since. I enrolled at the University of Arizona to study Aerospace Engineering, and was heavily involved in Formula SAE, getting my start in engineering and mechanical work through that program. I haven't been able to stay away from racing since, and have maintained connections with the many great engineers I met in college. Some work for formula Atlantic teams, some are now working their way up in Indy car racing, and I chose to go back to Chicago. After working for some time at a tuning shop, preparing quite a few track cars locally, and really getting my hands dirty within the local community, I decided to start Industry Distribution with Nate. I now have a part-time day job at a local raceway, working as a track marshall. This allows me to spend quite a bit of time honing my driving skills, but also to focus my time on this new company.

We're enthusiasts are heart, and are not in this business simply to answer questions or make sales. As such, we're willing to wait a few years to do this full time, to ensure that we provide the best possible service in the interim. We absolutely must make every single transaction smooth for each customer, and so are looking at each sale as an individual learning experience with one simple motto in mind: the customer must never be unhappy with his transaction, no matter what.

Sorry if that's long winded, but that's a pretty complete look at who we are.
