Damaged alloy !
Just noticed that one of my rear 18'' alloys has a couple of chips out of it.
I know I haven't curbed it, so it must have been as a result of one of the many potholes. Can anyone recommend a reliable alloy wheel repair guy ( in the Manchester area ) ,or should I take it to a BMW body shop ? Thanks. |

Not much use to you now I guess, but Groupon had a deal the other week for Alloy Wheel refurbishment for just £25 per wheel.
Keep an eye out on the deal websites for similar offers.

We used to use a company to fix paint chips for some of the company cars here, they did alloys too. He used to work for VW or some other garage now setup his own business, in Manchester.
Can't remember the name, but my colleague will as he keeps all the contact addresses, he's on holiday until Monday. I'll have a rummage through business cards see if I can find it. But may have to wait until Tuesday.
