I'd like a discussion on circuit trophies as sometimes I've seen circuits present a very generic Santander 'S' trophy, and contrasting some circuits have fantastic trophies.(ie. Montreal)

Does anyone know the occasion or situation for using the generic trophy? Is it as simple as a funds thing, or is the Santander trophy a fall back if logistics prevent the real trophy from being presented?
