M Performance Rocker Panel Film - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Last night I ordered the matte black film strips for the m sport side skirts as part of the m performance kit off www.getbmwparts.com and was hoping someone may have installed these. I originally didn't think it was just a decal kit and now I'm wondering how easy of an install it is. Think it requires professional installation?

Thanks for the input I received them today and they do seem high quality and thick. I'm going to attempt a self install and hope for the best. With a clean surface and taking my time I imagine I'll be ok.

Make sure you anchor one side and keep track of the angle that the vinyl is going on as it is easy for it to start sloping down or up if you're not paying attention. I had to pull one side up about 3/4 of the way and re-align.

Dealer wanted $250 install lol. Private guy )$120, finally got it done by a vinyl guy for $80 , he kind of looked challenged! But results look awesome

Just ordered my second set of decals for professional install lol. Wasn't as easy as it looked it started to have little crease lines and some bubbles. Having a tint/vinyl guy do it
