Also when the car is parked and turn off is it open or close?
I am not sure if there is a way to clear it but you can always plug it in before you go to the dealer and the tech will prob think it was a fluke.

I didn't try putting it back on so I have no clue of how difficult it will be. One day I might try doing that and try the unplug method.

So now that I installed the DP, at cold start, the idle is harsh. I'm thinking that if the other side was open, it would smooth it out a bit. What is this 'plug' you guys are talking about? I'd rather do that than do the wire gig.

I took a look and the plug is obvious

Now my question is, once you unplug it, do you need to do something w/ the male and female connectors so crap doesn't get in them? I'm not even sure I like it more yet. I'll drive around for a couple days and I might plug it back in. Pics of the plug below...

Unplugging, if like the e90 will throw codes.
Use a surgical clamp on the rubber hose from the solenoid.
Fast and easily reversible.

No vacuum line on f30. Either unplug or remove spring clip and wire tie it.

I've unplugged it twice, but have always plugged it back in before servicing... Dealer hasn't said anything.

So has anyone had a problem with plugging the wire back in when going in for service?
