DIY requst HID or just bulbs - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Anyone have a DIY for either HID kit or just a simple bulb replacement. I'm planning on switching to either new bulbs or HID kit since I have the stupid Halogens

lots of threads info on this.... no DIY yet, kit being worked on.

u can switch bulbs to make it whiter.

I need a DIY, I tried installing my hids but my hids keep on flickering, I bought a kit from ddmtuning (h7)with a wire harness And I tried one side with the wire harnes but it kept on flickering . I'm not sure why it was doing it and I think it was because it was not a canbus ballast or I didn't have a error cancelled thing on the ballast.

Some tips would be great ,

ddm tuning doesnt sell canbus kits from what I remember

you need to get canbus ballasts and you do not use a relay

Can anyone at least give me a general set of steps to install an HID kit?
