Hello everyone

Found a local deal on rial Salerno 17 wheels and winter tires. They came off of an e90 335. Wondering if anyone knows if these will fit the f30, 328i sport line specifically. It seems from my searching that rear fitment, as well as m14 bolt size could be an issue. Anyone have confirmation? Would love to find a local set of wheels.

I don't see a problem, I assume they have a mid 30 offset.
But I can't say 100%.

I bought 17" tires from Tire Rack last year for my E90 2009 335i with the sport package. I called Tire Rack and asked if I could use them on my 2013 F30 335i sportline and they said yes. They could have told me no and I would have bought new tires and sold the old on Roundel, but they said I was good to go. You should be as well.

They have an offset of 29mm...

I'm also curious if these will fit, as I was thinking of buying a set for winter. What to you think?

Tire Rack shows the 18x8 fitment for the F30 as ET30. So, if the 17's are 17x8ET29, it should be no issue. Only other things to check are hub bore and of course the M Performance brakes need an 18" wheel, not 17"

OEM 18s are ET34, a bit concerned that the 17x8 Rials are ET29 which I am guessing means they sit more tucked in?

No ET29 means they stick out more. The offset is how far from the center of the wheel the mount is. So the smaller the number it means the closer to the center of the wheel it will be mounted. Larger offset means it will be "tucked in" more. If you look at an M3 for instance the rear offset is something like ET27 because the wheel wells are flared out more so the wheel needs to stick out more, also helps handling a tiny bit...

Mako has it right. The ET29 will sit out 5mm from stock, or, less than 1/4". Most will say the OEM wheels aren't flush enough anyways so an extra 5mm is good. I'd agree, especially because its a minimal change and won't affect expensive stuff like wheel bearings.
