So I went to my dealer today, trying to get out of my lease early (7 months), and decide on what I want for my car... To my astonishment they did not have a single F30 328i with the lighting package... WTF????

He said they order them mostly standard + (luxury/sport/msport/modern) as the average customer doesn't care about lighting package...


So I still have not seen what it actually looks like...

What I'm looking for:

1 picture of stock daytime running lights on during the day (to see what lights up, ie: "angel eyes", and x bulbs)

1 picture of stock xenon lights at night (to see how it looks on at night)...


I've found lots of pictures on here of other's 3'ers just not sure what is stock and what is not??

anything you see with angel eyes has the lighting package. Unfortunately, BMW decided not to include the angel eyes if you go for the stock lighting

So is this the way it looks STOCK no modifications as daytime running lights?

Only "Angel Eyes" and those eyebrow lights on? or are any other lighting components on as DRL's such as the yellow lights on the sides etc..

I have xenon lights and they are worth it. I had to recode my ASS had a service car with non xenon lights for 3 days. All I have to say is: Wow do they look like crap without xenon!

Don't believe what the dealer says he just wants to move stock...

The above is With the lighting package.
There are no angel eyes without it.
Get the lighting package.

Those aren't "eyebrow lights". That's reflection off the chrome eyebrows.

Here you go in closeup.

I love the lighting package--- really adds a touch of class to the car. I agree, I can't fathom spending this much $$$ with a car and ending up with regular halogens.. I also love the doorhandle lights that illuminate upon entry and initial movement of the car.. also, the lights are amazingly bright for night-time driving.

Totally worth the money and the extra wait to find a vehicle (or order one) with the lighting package!

I know you are looking at 328 but "lighting package" is standard on 335.

When I went to dealer, I test drove a luxury with no lighting package. Then I asked for a modern line. He parked it right in front of the luxury. When we saw it my brother and I both said Wow!!!. The difference was like night and day.

So this is my question: Seekup's photo has not amber side lights, Hayir's has the amber side lights on.. What's the difference is Seekup's off via coding??

I agree with the ppl here, the reason I got hooked by the 3 series was the Angel Eyes. I have a 328 so I had to buy the Lighting Package and it made a total difference in look. My dealer rarerly had stocks with Angel Eyes though. Fortunately, I listened to ppl in this forum.

If you buy a BMW without the halo ring headlights (angel eyes), it would be the same thing as going to MacDonalds and not get the french fries... it would be the same thing as going to Paris without visiting the Eiffel Tower, it would be the same thing as going to London without shaking the hands of the Queen or Harry, it would be like going to the most expensive local restaurant, and not eat their signature dish, it would be like going to Oahu Hawaii without walking on Diamond Head, it would be like going to NYC and not trying to catch a cab...

If you are going to pay money for a brand new 3 series, might as well bend a bit further down and let them steal a bit more money from you, but in return you get the Lightning package to be a show off

I hate how BMW charges you for those kind of things, the halo lights should be standards... especially if it makes their car stand out.

If you care for those kind of things, get it,

otherwise if you dont mind having a BMW that looks like a rental or fleet car... you can save more money than me.

Light switch at Auto postition during day: Only angel eyes lit, no amber lights
Parking light position: Angel eyes and ambers together

Yep. I had it in auto setting.
