I purchased some carbon fiber interior decals for my f30 and realized that I will need to temporarily remove the dashboard accent strip to do the install for the area around the radio and climate control plastics.
The accent strip that I am referring to is labelled #2 in this diagram: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...77&hg=51&fg=30 I am tempted to take a screw driver and yank it open, but I just don't have the courage to do it, unless someone can confirm that that is the right way of doing it. |

I think I got the answer to this question by searching around the Internet. It is not possible to simply demo e the accent strip without removing the entire wooden dash trim.
