Later e90 hello f30 - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

EDIT II: Added IND painted reflector pictures!

So I had an e90 328 xi 6spd, hit a deer causing 10k in damage. Daniels BMW did a great job with the repairs but I decided I wanted a new car without a bad past.

So I got a Black Sapphire F30 335i with X drive Msport 6spd.

I got the car at the dealer as they pulled it off of the truck. From first ignition the car was a beast. Single handedly the smoothest shifting car I have ever driven.

The HUD is impressive. So much information from speed to radio channel is shown on the windshield, making it so easy to drive and interface with the electronics in the car.

The modes on the car allow for 3 distinctive feels while driving. Eco pro allows for a sluggish to respond gas sipping ride. Comfort allows for a quick to respond yet understated acceleration. Sport and sport + allow for a grab your face exhaust note with a burble that causes a distraction and attention focusing noise.

BMW has really outdone themselves with this beast of a car.

Mods so far: Black Grilles and 20% Tint
Mods Planned : BMW ppk and Performance Exhaust

Bought the car in NJ, but live in PA so had to get the car inspected... This awesome gouge into my rim was the auto shop's fault. I am deciding if I want to allow a repair or just push for a new rim. Will keep everyone up to date.

HUD is so sexy. I had never used one before, but BMW does it so well the info looks like it is floating at the tip of your hood, not right on your windshield.

Ill try to take pics of the HUD and the stamped aluminum accents tomorrow.

So happy with everything on the car.

The place that damaged my rim is buying me a new one. Should have it mounted and balanced Monday

You should plug the V1 into the power outlet in the passenger footwell below the glove box. It gets the cable out of the way nicely!

Looks good! I remember my Grand Prix GTP had HUD, 15 years ago and I vowed to never drive a car without it again. It's incredible its taken this long to become an option on the 3.

I'll probably dip the grill black gloss, then see if its worth ordering the other part.
