BMW probably invested $1M+ to develop the LED/xenon lights for the F30. I'm not sure I would hold out for something to develop quickly or inexpensively.

Now we're up to $3800 (minimum) + labor. Not to mention, the dealer probably has no idea how to code such a retrofit. So who's up for being a $4500 guinea pig? |

I doubt you'll find any dealer willing to attempt this because there is no support from BMW on such a retrofit at this time so its a liability. It may seem like a simple task but there is more than meets the eye.

I imported all the stuff from a company in Germany. All hardware in (Assemblies, ballasts, driver module, led module) cost me around 1700 euros except for halogen bulbs for indicators which you use the same as already fitted in your halogen assembly and xenon bulbs which you can easily get at your local car workshop

i have all the stuff with me now.I need correct wiring guidance because i think the halogen connector wires dont match up with xenon connector as i am able to light up the xenons but drls(angel eyes) and side indicator bulb dont lit up.I am not sure if it has anything to do with the coding stuff but i personally think only issue is wiring ,coding will come into play for errors when all lights lit up
any help as regards to wiring will be appreciated.the xenon connector has 8 pins out of which 4 are known to me.pin number 1 unknown,2 is ground,3 being for xenon,4 ground again,5 unknown,6 being for shutter,7 unknown,8 unknown |
