F30 is the winner on all but one thing - the nav screen. Look how bright and clear the e90 nav screen looks, sitting back in its recess shaded from the sun. Look how much glare and reflection is present on the f30's screen. Fail.

+1. the screen on the F30 is a novelty that, unfortunately, will wear off quickly. I have the pop-up screen in my C300, you know, one that only looks that way because it actually goes down when not needed... (not that I ever turn it off, but at least there's a reason it isn't built in like the E90 and oh, btw, the newer C300 that abandoned the pop-up!!).

THIS IS the best visual comparo between E90 and F30 !!
Same combo, same trim, same spec etc etc ... BOth of them are very pretty car, the E90 still have a few years ahead of it before becoming out-dated... but the F30 is picking up the baton really nicely....

I prefer the F30 however the awhk is right, the E90 is still a great car (with iDrive/etc) and looks good too!

The F30 M Sport Pack is really very nice! I know some people might disagree but I really like the meaty thick 3 spoke M6 like steering wheel in the M Sport Package that really makes my day. |

The F30 front end is clearly better designed. The upper portions of the central U form flow nicely beneath the headlights.
Not so sure about the rear bumper on the F30; I would like to see it in the flesh before deciding. ![]() As for the interior, the F30 instrument cluster has returned to a more traditional layout with four circular gauges. The aluminum trim, especially in the F30, will likely present reflection issues for those who choose this trim. The F30 M Sport steering wheel looks fantastic !
