Apparently these GT monstrosities are popular in some parts of the world. I for one despise them. I had my issues when BMW started making SUV's, but saw their value. The GT's though completely baffle me. The look like bloated Hyenas with short legs. In my view, they are design atrocities!

Of course, Bangle already messed up big time, but that is NOT an excuse to continue the massacre.

I just see the mazda 6-series and it looks 10 times better. What a mess we're in? And it can be avoided so easily. BMW, you make me mad with this ugly designs. The cars I love apparently have to be ugly.

Like you say... I'am already anxious to see the introduction pictures. With a lot of shadow parts at the rear for profile shots, a super lowered suspension, nice 19'rims to capture the focus. Mostly front end and 1/4th shots to de-emphasize the rear.

Then a few months later you see one in real life from the back and 3/4th and then it hits ultra hard: ugly like any stupid low cost Korean inferior crossover blob.

They just bluntly ignore, with several previous crap designs being launched before this also. I assume Asian market magnet is strong and very forgiving for really bad designs? So BMW market is shifting to other markets and EBITDA is still rising, so why do they care after all?

This is the paradox BMW tries to proves to us: inferior product desirability by ugly and even repulsive design is not affecting projected profitablilty at all! Just shift to a rising market that doesn't care.
