My M Performance Black Kidneys showed up last week

However, unlike the name implies they add exactly 0 horsepower to the car

Can't wait to get the car back to Dallas and install them

I have seen the black grills on mineral grey. It looks awesome.

I was sold on them when I saw a picture of them on here a while back. Can't wait...

Now I need someone to slap me and tell me the black racing stripes will look stupid on my un-modded / stock car. I just keep thinking how cool the Mini Cooper looks with Mineral Gray and Black stripes. But that's a Mini and it's supposed to have racing stripes.

I am sure I won't do it. Or will I? Nah, it'd look silly...

I ordered mine on the 27th of August... 7 days after you. Mine doesn't go into production until week 43 last week of October. This wait seems forever... Didn't get a production number until 2 weeks weeks ago.

I know that I totally lucked out on that the dealer had an allocation so soon!

I just found out that my car might be coming in with all-season tires

which I wouldn't be so upset about if they were all-season staggered. I assumed the default would have overrode the all-season with performance when M Sport was added. But it looks like at the time I ordered the BMW Configurator online showed all season tires so they added that to the build.

I am not pannicking quite yet but the build sheet has All-Season on it so I am pretty sure that's what will be on it. Anyone have something similar happen and have any luck getting them changed out?

My build sheet says all season tires at the bottom, even tho it says msport and summer tires at the top of the sheet. I brought it to the attention of the sales manager and he said not to worry. All season are not staggered.

Well, if the car comes with all seasons, i will go nuts, luickly they have a few msports on the lots that i would make him swap the wheels out(which i might have him do anywyas if i dont get the bridgestone's) but those cars have been sitting on the lot for a few weeks.

Do you have your build sheet?

On mine it's listed as "ZPT Performance Summer Tires"

edit: It's the last item on the sheet for me.

My build sheet shows both a line under M Sport Line that says "ZPT Performance Summer Tires" and then at the very bottom is a line that says "ZAS All Season Tires"

That is weird. But at least you have ZPT listed!

It's probably just an issue with the internal order tool. To the OP, just double check you have ZPT listed and mention it to your CA that ZPT is correct, and ZAS is incorrect.

^thats exactly what mine says...i think we will be ok. Im guessing thats how all the cars ordered at my dealer are ordered and the cars on the lot all have staggered performance tires.

It better come with performance tires or they will be swapping the rims with another msport on the lot. I think it will come with performance tires tho because i mentioned this to the sales manager, that it said all seasons and he said dont worry. Luckily they have about 8 msports on the lot and a few with potenzas, only thing is those cars have been sitting for a while.

How are you guys getting the status codes of your progress? When I call the 800 number it simply says that my 335i is in Production and is scheduled to be completed by Wed of this week.

Your CA can tell you what status it's at.
