How about 40-100 times? 0-60 is kinda pointless, a mssive strain on your drivetrain and tyres and is as much determined by your road surface as anything else

A friend of mine's remapped 335D

BMW's claim for the 328i Automatic is 6.1s to 60mph.

My 328i achieved 0-60mph with the Sport Automatic Transmission in 5.4s using the launch control technique, which is:
ASS OFF
Sport+ (Or Sport and Traction if your F30 hasn't got Sport+)
DS
Foot on the brake, 2000rpm (I tried 2800rpm but a bit too much wheel spin)
GO!

So 0.7s faster than BMW's claimed time in the real world! I'm sure the 255's out back will have helped over the standard 225 all around set-up.

Hit 1080p!

My E90 330d 6MT achieved 5.9s to 60mph. BMW's claimed time was also 6.1s, so it was north by 0.2s. Being a manual, it's obviously more down to the driver so I revved to about 2300rpm (turbo on at ~1600rpm), clutch slipped to avoid traction loss then didn't fully plant my foot 'till 2nd gear. My 330d also had the staggered 225/255 tyre set-up.

Hit 1080p on this too!

Not to thread jack but note the sound of the two cars, which do you prefer? When going for it, I think the 'd wins for the best soundtrack! Mind you, I6 vs I4.

But plenty of places you can try it safely I did all my high speed logging on my MPS on a private runway that looks remarkably like the A50 in Derbyshire

Yes there is. I grew up there, and I am not taking about Englishtown (though if the law concerns you, then that is where you should go).

I6 beats the i4 in sound all the time if there both petrol But gas engines make a sweeter sound to me so I'd have to go with the I4 this time... sorry for the late reply just saw the foot note. I past over it reading the first time

I have a 335i and I'm helping to beta test the burgermotorsorts tune. I've timed low 4's consistently with the tune on(8atsport). The n55 and n20 are very performance oriented engines. The n20 with this tune on probably gets around 4.8 to 4.9 to 60. I would say with proper launch the 328i will do mid to low 5's to 60 stock. They are both very detuned motors. My .02 cents.

4.6 to 4.8 8at sport with a good launch and 19" potenzas from what I've timed myself. That's all I've tried. 4.2 to 4.4 with a stage 1 beta tune. Pretty damn quick.
