From the company's inception in 1998 the gentlemen at 3D Design Japan have worked persistently to develop a brand focused on the idea of clean lines and top shelf products produced in conjunction with top shelf manufacturers. The new generation of BMW chassis pose a interesting challenge due to the fact that the Munich designers have done a excellent job with the aesthetics. The F30 is no exception. Although the variance from the E9X chassis is slight the gents at 3D Design needed to develop a aero line that was simple while bringing a more aggressive presence to the new flagship vehicle.

Albeit 3D Design will be releasing more products for the F30 the current line is comprised of a front lip, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler, as well as their trademark performance pedal set . The front lip was designed for the sport bumper, however, 3D Design informed us that if the front fog light bezel is changed it is compatible with all bumpers.

Nice- but I was expecting something aggressive for the rear diffuser. I notice this is a 328i but with a dual exhaust, is that just a custom one-off or a new dual exhaust product?

The front lip makes a ton of difference in terms of looks. IMO BMW should've had something like this instead of making the middle of the bumper go in.

That front looks terrible, the wheels are terrible, the f30 is terrible. Stop trying to mod these, BMW dropped the ball on this one and should have just rolled with the e90 a few more years.

I disagree. The F30 in person has a more aggressive stance and looks much cleaner than the E90. Just IMO, of course, but I'm sure a lot of people feel this way. I would imagine people who just bought an E90 feel like they should have waited this new model looks so clean. My only real gripe is the hoodline on the F30, and unfortunately nothing can change that.

This is speaking only of the 328/335 model as the new M hasn't been revealed, yet.

The front looks 100x better. Still has room for improvement though. This is where Msport + 3D Design will step in.

I don't know what some of you guys are smoking but the front end of this F30 looks better than any E90 unless its an Msport trim car. Non Msport e90 and non Msport F30 the F30 looks way more aggressive. This is coming from a E90 owner.

I'm happy to see this. I NEED a front and rear spoiler. The lip is all the f30 needs. When the e90 came out everyone always said"it's so hideous", now they LOVE it. Same will happen here as always. See mine in person and then see how it compares. Bold car, just what I want. Fuck mainstream

The e90 needed updating, the interior was looking tired compared to the competitions. The car in general was starting to look dated- as it would do after however many years. But I have to say, the e92 still looks nice.
Anyway, I really like that boot spoiler!

You are delusional and ofcourse only saying this because you own a car of that era. But in reality, the F30 looks better than the e90/e92.

Agree. F30 can look EXTREMELY NICE with some minor changes. This car's stance is great. I'm in the market for a new car, and I'm not signing up for F30. I was waiting so long for this. It has a lot of potential, but too much work is needed (modding) to make this look good. Rear looks like squat 5 series and front looks like.. I can't even describe it.

Like I said in many of my post, I think dissing on new models is dissing on your own car. I hate putting down my favorite brand, the BMW, but F30 is not it. Since the E46, BMW's design has been horrible with 3 series. E90 is uglier than E46, and F30 is uglier than E46. I say E90's front is better than F30, while F30's rear looks better than E90. Either way, both cars are no where near completely good.
