Happy everyone is OK. I just gotta say I would be so freaking pissed. Mostly on her she just messed up badly and could have killed someone. On top of that she crashed your car for not calling you to pick up.

Phone call - 2 mins worth of life

No phone call = DUI / Car messed up / 3:30 phone call anyway

People need to think about this. I have zero tolerance for this, I am in the military and I want my people to come back alive.

Great outlook. So if she had killed someone, DUI still not so serious? I wish people would stop giving children BMW's.

Armchair estimate: repairable unless the frame is bent.

I think it is already understood that everyone is safe. So yeah there are plenty of things more serious than a dui. Sorry I don't come from a place where the grass is always green like you. Does that mean I'm a child? So what are you talking about? You must think that somehow I think a car is more important than a life? Are you retarded?

More specifically then, the car will not be totalled by the ins co as the cost of repair plus salvage is less than FMV.

lol, oh so you got to see it? looks pretty bad huh?
i didnt get to see it til i got to the impound lot yesterdat - i was on the verge of tears LOL...

i called LTBMW to check up on it - and the guy on the phone said that it looks totaled, i'd rather it be totaled than salvaged so i guess thats a bit of good news for me. Although its ultimately up to the insurance company to deem it totaled, i'll keep my fingers crossed. Ask Long if i can keep my roof wrap lmao

Totally missed the point but that's not surprising given your other posts. No need to put words in my mouth, I've been pretty clear. Nothing you just said made even the slightest bit of sense. I commented on your childish outlook on drunk driving, not your actual age, and certainly never said anything about the grass being greener or you prioritizing a car over a life, that makes no sense and has no basis.

Hopefully when you get your DUI's no one is hurt then either.

tough call. at first look I thought it looked worse than it is, but it's smashed in enough, seems like there could be engine damage, which might just push you over the limit if it's bad enough. Good thing is, at least from this pic, cabin seems completely in tact. A testament to the design of the car and luck of his wife..

wow ... that is pretty bad but as most have said, hopefully the wifey is ok. car can be fixed/replaced but hopefully wifey is not injured or hurt.

would this be a repair job or a replacement car?

if its your wife, you will go through thick and thin. These things happen and life goes on. Dont worry about the resale of the car. Just drive the car like its yours after its repaired

Ugh...wow, I'm sorry. That's painful, but the bright side is that no one was injured, right?

No way to know from photos if it's reparable, but I would try my hardest to get it totaled- demand that they use OEM parts in the estimate + make a claim for diminished value and hopefully combined that will push it over the edge for a total...if not, then you will at least have a car with all OEM parts and your warranty intact on everything after repairs.

Do you have a "new car replacement" rider on the policy?

Who is your wife's sister, Lindsay Lohan?

Sorry to hear about the car. She wadded it up pretty good.
