Anyone know where to get coding done in Vancouver?
Been reading about all the good stuff people have been coding in the DIY section. Does anyone have experience with this or know where to get it done in Vancouver?
I replied to an ad on craigslist and the guy quoted me a whopping $500 for the list below. Too rich for my blood. Any other suggestions besides taking the plunge and doing myself? What I wanted to have done...for now: - Auto-start/stop default off (so system remembers last setting, instead of always being on) - video/DDVD in motion - delete front corner lights - unlock all doors with comfort access from driver side door (like it does on passenger side) - sports display to read HP and TQ, instead of current Nm settings - remove the annoying iDrive Disclaimer message - PDC and back-up camera disclaimer - "vehicle info" to show tire pressure, not just color status of wheels - mirrors fold in when car locked, fold out when unlocked - Installation of BMW Apps (internet connectivity, social media connectivity, google access, all from iDrive display) |

Well if you can build or buy a cable you're halfway there. The software just takes time to download, but you do have to be generally comfortable with computers. There's a bit of file copying and clicking around to get things working. Svache's PDF guide is an excellent document to follow though.

Raspartan you were talking up on another thread about this the other day. Any ideas why it was locked?
