Ok when I ordered mine I think I remember my salesman telling me I would be getting the mixed tires with the rims I assumed were standard M sport specific 18" (style 400) but this new US configurator for the M sport shows those plain Star Spoke (Style 393) 17" that come on the plain base model. Please tell me this is a error on the website configuration!!!

According to the order guide, if you want wood (anthracite, fineline or burl walnut) you have to get the pearl chrome highlight trim.

I think it's so cool you can get the Active Hybrid in M-Sport. Another reason I love BMW.

The wheel selector shows the correct image, it just does not post on the main configuration photo.

Being listed under both is intentional, and not a glitch. Leather is required for the Cold Weather Package, and it's also required for (and included in) the Premium package. The glitch is not being able to select both.

Is that just a glitch or will I be downgrading to Sportline
========== Gotta be a glitch. Can't select coral red with any exteriour colour without deselecting MSport.

Did anyone notice you don't get sport suspension with ActiveHybrid Sport Line or M Sport? Does BMW think people that want to save gas doesn't want a sporty ride as well?

So BMW really thinks this hybrid crap will sell better in the US than Diesel would? Maybe I am wrong but I think the new 35D would cost the same or less as the Hybrid thing but actually give better gas mileage and much better performance.
I thought the Diesel X5s were selling well, and even the old 335D, why is BMW ignoring this technology for the US? No Diesel X1, X3, X6, 5 series? at least give us one engine for all, 35D would work. |

I saw the same thing. Either the M Sport already comes with one of the items, or their system is having a problem.

The configurator is clunky, and is further complicated by the different "line" options. If you choose the M-Sport "line", why make options selectable if they are going to move you to a different "line"? I tried building a M-Sport with red seats, and it changes to a sports line. Every option I selected changed my base car. I've lost interest.

I'm not one of those people who complains about option bundling and packages, but I just built a fully loaded 335i xDrive M-Sport for $62,395. I didn't select any of the accessories; not even the extended warranty coverage plan. There's no excuse for this kind of price hike over the old 335i xDrive.
