2013 335i Sedan - M Sport Line

Hi guys,

I have attached an offer I just recently received. I think I will jump on it. What do you guys think?

It will be an Estoril Blue w/ Black Dakota leather interior (aluminum hexagon and estoril blue liner.) The MSRP is $59,370, and the invoice price (as per bmwconfig.com) is $54,765, but I understand all dealers have MACO fees, so the "actual" invoice is +400, or $55,165-- I have been offered $55,900 or +735 over invoice. I will also be using the New Graduate and Team USA coupons to bring my subtotal to $53,900+taxes or ~9.2% savings off MSRP.

Let me know what you think of the deal!

Best,
crow

P.S. I know the 'Parking Assistant' is completely unnecessary, but so is a 300hp sedan for a daily driver Might as well go all out and pretend like the novelty never wears off!

Did you deal with your dealership through email/online or face to face?

This time around it was e-mail, but I have previously purchased a BMW from the same person before.

Not bad at all.
MACO at $400 seems a bit high though.
The config site invoice shows the $200 "training fee", MACO is usually around $200-$250. Make sure he's not adding another training fee, could save you another couple hundred.

Since you offered $735 above invoice, ask to see the actual invoice, then you'll know. If you agree to the price in total, then you may have to haggle about the $200 or so. Better to go with the over invoice offer, based on actual invoice.
No big deal really, but $200 can be a nice dinner to celebrate your new BMW.

Thanks for the tip. I will request the actual invoice price list from him. Also, the price on bmwconfig includes the "training fee", but I have been told that there is a MACO fee on top of that price, so effectively I am paying $200 training fee (as per bmwconfig) + $400 MACO fee... does this mean I am paying $600 where I should only be paying ~$400? I did some forum searching and it looks like $600 is the correct number for the sum of both, but it looks like many people have been getting the training fee waived. Also, MACO is pretty high for California dealerships.

MACO is high in Cali. Training is legit. Looks good.

Base + Options + Destination + MACO + Training = Invoice.

Awesome! I think he will be waiving the training fee anyway, but I'm going to order it either way since I am under invoice (with the use of the New Grad and Team USA coupons) anyway.

Thanks everyone for your help! I am pretty stoked.

Yes, that is what I was suggesting, that the MACO seemed high to me.
That's advertising fee, and it's higher in certain metro areas.
I'm in the Chicago area and it's like $220, add $200 for training and total is $440.
Your MACO could be that high, but being in Chicago I'm thinking we're paying the higher end already.
If your's is $400 just for MACO that's nearly double, quite a jump.

The actual invoice will show the true cost, work off that.

My CA in California's MACO is $380 by the way, but it doesn't apply to me with ED orders.

Update: my CA has waived the training fee. Also, he told me that he believes 335i allocations will be getting better within the next week or two, so you guys might start to get better deals soon.

Also, I am planning to sell my 2007 E92 (328i coupe)-- more info about that can be found at: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...5#post12165105

Thanks everyone!
