Thanks.

We need to do an Msport color survey.
I'll bet that estoril blue has got to be close to 70% right now.

Probably close to that, but the good thing is only 10% of buyers get the M Sport line. And the overwhelming vast majority of the 90% go with: white, black, grey, or silver.

EBII will still be rare.

True about all 3's.
But, as far as Msports, I wonder which color will be the rarest?
Right now it doesn't look like it will be blue.
It looks like an estoril Msport may be the most common Msport color.
We'll have to see later.

Oh, no doubt EBII will be the most popular color for Msport ordered F30s, just like Lemans was on the E90s. The unique color is one of the primary reasons people buy the line, another being the front bumper.

Driving around I see about 100 white, black, or grey E90s for every one in Lemans. Come to think of it, I can only remember encountering about 4 in total not counting on the dealer lot.

Due to the limited percentage of Msport sales vs total sales, EBII will still be very unique to see on the road.

But there will be at least 2 EBII in FL afaik

The red attracted me as well, but this shade of blue is much more unique and exciting, hence me choosing it. As Justin pointed out, we've gotten a bit conservative in our car color choices, so having a color stand out in a parking lot is much easier. And more fun. Then again, I'm young so what do I know?

Conservative color choice is so true.
Of course BMW creates that by not giving very many color variations.
They do more "shades" on a theme.
Jet black, black sapphire, mineral gray, and imperial blue would look nearly indistinguishable after sunset.
Sparkling bronze and Mojave are really just a shade apart.

I can see why people gravitate towards estoril, it's a striking color for a BMW. Melbourne is nice and I almost went for it. My niece said I should have gone red. She's probably right.
My last 3 German cars were silver-BMW, mid dark gray-Audi, nearly same shade gray-BMW, and now back to silver-BMW.
Hmmm...maybe I should go for red.

If BMW still offered the flat sport red I would have gone for that.
I wonder if anyone would like a banana yellow? Not bright lemon, or very sunny yellow, but a more subdued banana like non metallic yellow.

One color I would LOVE to see is a true metallic copper with a reddish hue. It might look good on an Msport, but it would really have to look as close to a real copper to work. With real brushed copper dash trim inside with the anodized red trim. It works in my head. I'd love to see it.

Perhaps a very metallic Japanese beetle green, but maybe more for a coupe.
I really like that lime green they did on a Euro 1M, not for the 3 though.

Hmm... Lime green in a mid size sedan is too striking that it might shock people's eyes. But maybe they can bring back the dark shade of green from Bimmers of old?

Yellow won't do the aggressive look any justice, so that's out. Maybe a copper color of some type, like you indicated.

Another one is purple. A dark hue of purple might not be too bad... maybe a darker version of this purple? ->""

And of course a matte finish on all their paints would be quite awesome as well. Alas, this is only for M cars

EDIT: Also go for red. I think the red with 19" 403M would look awesome. I didn't choose red because there's already a red car in my driveway

I emailed my sales guy to ask if I can change to red, IF I decide to do it.
But, I have to decide probably by tomorrow or Friday.
It may be too late though, as some 2013's have ALREADY started production!
If mine has, I'm cool with that and my silver/red color choice.

as long as its not shceuled for production, you can make changes. If not, you would lose your "slot"

Yes, of course.
I'm just asking the sales guy to verify if the car is in production, and if not then we can make change IF I decide. But, I don't want my slot or allocation moved. I'm perfectly fine with my original choice, that's why I made it. But, it really was between red or silver, so I flip flop every few days. It's a sickness.
This is my 2nd custome ordered BMW, and 3rd BMW over all.

Friends and family think I'm becoming a brand snob.
NOPE. I test drive a LOT, a LOT of cars before making my choice.
I'm extremely open to any brand. I have a certain feel I'm looking for, along with certain design.
BMW happens to fit, and it hits all the right buttons for me.
